Nubia has announced the Z17 Lite smartphone in China. The smartphone is a more budget variant of the Nubia Z17 flagship launched earlier this year. Recently, a more advanced variant of the Nubia Z17 with 8GB RAM was spotted online leading to rumors of the phone launching soon. However, instead of the new advanced variant, Nubia has announced the smaller and cheaper 'lite' variant of the flagship. In terms of design and features, the smartphone is pretty similar to the Nubia Z17, but the specifications are a watered down version of the original.
Despite efforts to curb the 'game', Blue Whale continues to claim lives. Recently, a 14-year-old boy is believed to have fallen prey to the Blue Whale dare. The class 10 boy from Midnapore, West Bengal, Ankan Dey is believed to have suffocated to death as part of the challenge. Though it is unclear if it was because of the challenge that he committed suicide, his friends say that he was part of the Blue Whale dare and had performed the other dares before the final one.

Google has updated its Camera app and the new version 4.4 brings some nifty changes to the camera.
