Action-adventure survival game No Man’s Sky was initially supposed to be third-party exclusive to PlayStation 4 in terms of consoles. But those plans seem to have fallen apart and now Amazon Italy seems to have listed the game for release on June 29 for Xbox One. This has not been officially confirmed and there is no word from the company that said that this may not be a PS4 console exclusive anymore. But from the date that has been listed on Amazon, we may assume that it could be accurate. One reason behind this is that the date, June 29 holds fast with the tradition of releasing games at the ending dates of a month, and this makes it less likely that Amazon made an error in the date if at all there is one. Secondly, the date June 29 is a Friday which also matches the tradition of releasing games on Tuesdays and Fridays that the companies usually follow. Also Read - Outriders could be coming to Xbox Game Pass, hints company
Another possible reason for the developers to break their previous word of keeping this an exclusive PS4 release for consoles is that the game has been extremely criticised and not in a positive manner. Gamers have even complained that the game does not hold true to the promises made the director and the trailers. This may have prompted the studio to go for a bigger audience for better profits.
This makes for convincing evidence for a fan who is hoping for the game to turn up on Xbox One. But then again we must consider the fact that Amazon Italy may just have made a mistake on their part listing it. So if I was a fan I would not get my hopes up too high yet.
