There is a substantial number of smartphone users that are a fan of the Asphalt racing game series on smartphones. And the latest game in the series Asphalt 9: Legends which launched a couple of months back has just received its first major update adding quite a few interesting additions to the game.
The new update weighs in at around 505MB, making it a pretty big update even for an Asphalt game’s usual standards. This just goes to show the number of things that Gameloft has added this time around. One of the biggest additions in this update is Club Race Mode which has been added by popular demand from the community. Players can now create their own private races to challenge their Club mates in this mode.
Two new cars have been added to the roster are well; these are the Lotus Elise Sprint 220 and Ferrari J50. A new career season with 20 unique challenges will open up once players unlock the Lotus Elise. Multiplayer mode will now offer more rewards for rising up the ranks of the Legend League leaderboard.
Daily goals are now available as well, offering simple tasks every day that will reward the players with more prizes. Customisable tap-to-steer controls have also been added.

The game should update by itself if the auto-update feature is turned on for users, though given the size of the update, it will probably only work when the users is connected to a Wi-Fi network. If that does not occur, users can always visit the Asphalt 9: Legends page on their respective app stores and update to the newest version manually.
