Role playing game fans are having a great time with some awesome releases this time of the year, and are in for some more as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set to hit the stores on October 5. And now, Ubisoft has announced the post release plans for the game, that will bring extensive content for months following the initial release of the game. The company announced the new plans in a video on its YouTube channel.
From what we can see, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey might turn out to be the most expansive release in the series with more content than any of its predecessors. The game itself is set to introduce new elements in the gameplay, besides all the post launch content being added. After the launch of game, Odyssey will get The Lost Tales of Greece, which are essentially new story quests. Ubisoft will also be introducing in-game events for free to all the users that bought the initial game.
But, Season Pass owners will receive two full story arcs of the game in the future, as well as a fully remastered edition of the Assassin’s Creed 3, that follows the adventures of the American assassin Connor.
This remaster will also include the PlayStation Vita game Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation’s remastered edition.
The first story arc for the Season Pass holders to hit the servers is called “Legacy of the First Blade” and will come out in December 2018. It will look into the origins of the hidden blade and the predecessors of the Assassins. The second arc will hit the servers in the spring of 2019, and will take place in the lost city of Atlantis, featuring mythical beasts and creatures from the Greek mythology.
