Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 or IIII as Activision has now confirmed, just got its trailer and introduced some of the modes that will be available. And from the looks of it developer Activision is going to give single player campaign a miss this time around.
Surprised? So are we, and from what we have seen so far, the game will be focusing on multiplayer modes. The zombie modes have now become standard and are part of the multiplayer experience. Besides this, the developers have now decided that it is time to embrace the battle royale movement and are introducing a mode which is similar to Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and it is called Blackout. Let’s take a look at this mode.
The trailer describes the map for it as the biggest one that they have created yet and it emphasizes that with Blackout, they are doing battle royale like only Black Ops can. This mode will be pooling in characters, locations and weapons from previous games and would include grounds, air and water vehicles.
But that does not mean that there won’t be a traditional multiplayer mode, and here’s a look at that.
Fans of the Black Ops series and its thrilling single player campaign modes need not be disappointed as the developers say that this is just a one-off year where they want to focus on the multiplayer modes. The series would be back with the single player campaign with the successive games.
And this year’s Black Ops 4 will be featuring three different zombie modes that will include a new storyline. These modes seem to borrow ideas for locations from the Titanic and Gladiator. Let’s take a look at the zombie modes coming up.
