Though the info was supposed to be released today, leaks yesterday have revealed that Blizzard is porting Diablo III to Nintendo Switch. All the presently available content will be made available for the Switch version along with some new Nintendo-themed content. But the best part of the news has to be that the game will come with local offline co-op. Also Read - Activision announces new Call of Duty game, new Warzone experience for 2022
Here s how the really flexible local co-op system will work. A single Nintendo Switch console will be able to host four players, or players can connect four different switch consoles for a session without using Wi-Fi. Nintendo Switch Online Service will be used to play the game, and store the save games in cloud servers.

The game is set to be priced at $60 (approximately Rs 4,200), and will include Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansion packs as well as the bonus classes. There will also be a Nintendo exclusive Ganondorf-themed armor, a Tri-Force portrait frame, and some other cosmetics from the Legend of Zelda. This edition will be called Diablo III Eternal Collection, and there is no fixed date on when the game will be launching for Nintendo Switch, but the leak says that it will be later this year.
UPDATE: Blizzard has now made the above information official and says that the Diablo III Eternal Collection retail stores everywhere and digitally through the Nintendo eShop later this year. Gamers in North America and Europe will be able to get an early look at Diablo III Eternal Collection this August at Gamescom in Cologne, Fan Expo in Toronto, and PAX West in Seattle.
