Sony had prepared a feast for the eyes of gamers at its event in E3 2018. This was a great night for fans of samurai games as we saw some incredible samurai action in Ghost of Tsushima. We also had another glimpse from the new Spider-Man game, oh and we’re getting Nioh 2. But no more delay, let’s begin our roundup.
Last of Us II
This trailer was a roller coaster ride to say the least, and anyone who watches it will say, “Well that escalated quickly.” Last of Us II will probably emphasize on stealth-styled gameplay, and going by what we have seen with the previous game, this will definitely offer a lot more.
Ghost of Tsushima
This one will definitely get ever hack-and-slash fan hyped, because we are finally going to get an open-world samurai game. Developer Sucker Punch seems to have taken The Witcher as inspiration for this one. The game is set in feudal Japan during the Mongol invasion.
This is a new third-person game from Remedy, the same studio that developed Max Payne, Alan Wake and Quantum Break. We’re expecting good things from it.
Resident Evil 2 remaster
Nothing too new about this; just that it’s coming out on January 25, 2019 and will be a re-envisioned version of a classic game.
Kingdom Hearts III
We have seen too many instances of this game at different press conferences at E3 this time and now the devs have revealed inclusion of the Pirates of the Caribbean characters in it.
Hideo Kojima’s sci fi/horror game has grabbed some eyeballs since the first time it was revealed and it still looks just as weird as before.
Nioh garnered a lot of fans when it came out with its Dark Souls styled gameplay and now there’s another one of these games coming out.
And finally, the game we all have already seen and still wanted to see more, Spider-Man. And this time we get to see five villains that Spider-Man is up against at the same time, Electro, Rhino, Vulture, Scorpion and Mr Negative. The action seems innovative and explosive at the same time. We can’t wait to get our hands on this one.
This is a PSVR game from From Software, and we don’t know what to say about it, so just have a look.
These were the major announcements from the Sony press conference at E3 2018. We will be bringing you more news from other events soon.
