And EA sports, like the last two tournaments, has made its own prediction about who will win this year. EA Sports collects data and analyzes all the teams that are there, and has made successful predictions based on their analysis for the FIFA World Cup competition of 2010 and 2014. And this year EA sports has revealed that its analysis indicate France will be the team to lift the World Cup once again. Though the path to victory will not be easy for Hugo Illoris and his French teammates. As per a simulation created with the data from FIFA 18, EA predicts that France will face Germany in the finals. The finals will extend to a penalty shootout where France will beat Germany by a score of 5-4. Frenchman Antoine Griezmann will be tied for the Golden Boot award with Spain s Isco.
Though these predictions are not supposed to be taken for granted, one must admit that the predictions made by EA has been generally correct. Besides the two previous football world cups, EA Sports Madden franchise has been able to successfully predict nine out of thirteen winners of NFL Superbowl.
