The report from SuperData suggests that Fortnite garnered $223 million across all platforms in March which is 73 percent more than its last month s revenue. And the release of the mobile version on iOS last month also helped the platform bolster this profit.
Fortnite took over the crown from PUBG as the most viewed and played game with a battle royale format. And this may be attributed to the fact that the base game of Fortnite is free while PUBG is not. Besides this, there is of course the use of a more fun factor with cartoonish graphics and easy mechanics of Fortnite that seems to have become popular.
