It seems like Fortnite players will have to wait a while longer for Season 6 to arrive with all its new surprises. Previously it was assumed that Season 6 will be hitting the servers around Tuesday, and now Epic Games in its latest tweet from the Fortnite handle has verified that Season 6 will be going live on September 27. Season 6 will see a new Battle Pass hit come to the game.

“Season 6 is now dropping from the Battle Bus on September 27. Celebrate its arrival and unlock those final Battle Pass rewards with an additional 400% Match XP all weekend, from now until September 24 at 8 AM ET (1200 GMT). Glide into the party!” Read the tweet.

The end of Season 5 was scheduled to end on September 24, Monday and now the countdown has been pushed up and shows that it will end on September 26, which is a day before Season 6 comes along. Season 6 release date has released after the Fortnite Mysterious Cube event got over, where we saw the cube that has been travelling around the map dissolve in the Loot Lake, turning it into Bouncy Lake.

As for the Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass, it is priced at $10 (Rs 650 approx.) which is equivalent o 950 V-Bucks, that is the ingame currency in Fortnite. The Fortnite Battle Royale Season 6 Battle Bundle on the other hand is priced at $25 (Rs 1,620 approx).

And those people that want all that is available in the Season 6 Battle Pass without working their way through the rewards, will have to spend around $150 (Rs 9,720 approx.) if they keep the same number of tiers as the last Battle Pass.
