Fortnite, the popular cross-platform battle royale game from Epic Games, is set to enter Season 6. The new season will be available for platforms like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and will hit smartphones later this week. Now, in order to build excitement for the next season, Epic Games has started dropping teaser images of Season 6. The first feature revealed by the company is a llama. With the upcoming Season 6, Epic Games seems to be following the same model as the Season 5, where it will share teaser images leading up to the start of the new season. The company tweeted out the first such teaser on Monday, which presumably shows off a new DJ llama skin that Fortnite players will be experience when the Season 6 kicks off. The teaser image comes with a message that reads, “All great parties need a DJ.” The teaser comes at a time when the battle royale mode of the game is set to celebrate its first anniversary sometime soon. Apart from the teaser and accompanying message, the developer is not giving away any other information with this teaser.
Epic Games recently confirmed that the Season 6 will be available officially on September 27. It will be available on mobiles later this week. While it is not clear how different it will be from previous seasons, the game is certain to offer another new Battle Pass. In the pass, the game developer has released a new Battle Pass at the start of every season, which could be purchased for 950 V-Bucks, and it gets leveled up as you complete weekly challenges.
According to Gamespot, Season 6 could be a big change from previous seasons, and could bring major changes. It notes that a purple cube materialized on the island after a lightning bolt emerging from a giant rift in the sky struck the desert. While the rift has closed, the purple cube began rolling around the island and made its way to Loot Lake, turning the lake purple and bouncy.

As Fortnite players prepare for the Season 6, it is your last chance to unlock any remaining Season 5 rewards. The Season 5 ends on Tuesday, September 25 and rewards cannot be unlocked after that. Fortnite has become talk of the town, and is one of the most widely played battle royale games right now and with Season 6, it needs to be seen whether Epic Games makes it just as much engaging as the current season of the game.
