Fortnite has been in the news for bringing in some of the most innovative gameplays and weapons that we have seen in multiplayer games in recent times. Fortnite players have seen a slew of launches in the last few months and the popularity of the game has literally soared and so has profits for the company.
Recently we saw the Shockwave Grenade which launches players in all direction and even through structures. This can be used in the most innovative ways possible and people have been doing just that as we have seen at PAX West this year. And we have also seen the effects of the Mysterious Cube that negated gravity in a game and let players float around while trying to kill each other.

And now the recent news from Twitch shows that a Grappling Gun is all set to be introduced which will let players grapple to structures from a long way off, essentially changing tides of battle. This will also see some great use in some stealth gameplay in a game that is all about running and gunning.
The clip of the Grappling Gun was shared on Twitch by user KairuCS, shows the weapon in action, where the player uses it to move to the structure where one of his opponents was and kill him from behind them even realizing it.

There is no concrete launch date for the weapon yet from Epic Games, but with Fortnite‘s High Stakes event rolls out this week it should not be too long before we see this weapon in action in the game itself.
