Gameloft has just launched its newest entrant in the popular racing game series Asphalt, called Asphalt 9: Legends. And to celebrate the launch of the latest game, Gameloft has partnered up with supercar maker Lamborghini to offer an in-game event where players will be able to drive the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio.
Asphalt 9: Legends does not have the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio available as on of the in game cars, and this event will be the only way for drivers to avail this concept car. The event has been named “Legendary Trip by Lamborghini”, where players will be able to win special in-game rewards by winning challenges, and even a trip to the Lamborghini headquarters in Italy.
This event is a time limited event and will be live worldwide with chances for people all over to win the chance to take the trip to Italy. The only markets where the offer are as follows Australia, Belgium, Burma, Brazil, Cuba, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, North Korea, Norway, Quebec, Sudan, Spain and Syria.
Gameloft launched the much-anticipated racing game, Asphalt 9 Legends for iOS and Android platforms on July 25. The game is available on Google Play Store or Apple App Store and is free to play. The game is about 1.75GB on Android and 1.5GB on iOS.
Asphalt 9 Legends comes with more comprehensive, and detailed graphics which makes it comparable to console and PC games. This is a followup to the Asphalt 8: Airborne.
According to the app description, Asphalt 9 Legends comes with a “top roster of real hypercars” that players can buy or unlock to use ingame. The game will come with more than 50 of the “world’s best speed machines” and will be upgradable with in-game currency that players can earn by winning races. Gameloft claims that the game will feature “one of the most hyper-realistic arcade racing games” along with “meticulously detailed real cars”, HDR supporting graphics, particle effects, and “stunning visual effects”.
On Asphalt 9 Legends, users can customize their cars in with new colors, and car build material. The game spans over 60 seasons and 800 events in the single-player mode in the quest to become “a street legend”. Players can also compete with up to seven rival Asphalt 9 players from across the globe with the help of the multiplayer mode.
