The newest escape to the magical world created by JK Rowling, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is now available for download on iOS and Android. Right from being sorted to houses to taking classes, players will live the virtual lives at Hogwarts that they always dreamed of.
According to the blog on developer Jam City’s website, “The story of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is set in the 1980s. In the game, players will progress as a student through Hogwarts, joining one of its four houses. Players will be able to create and upgrade personalized characters using an avatar customization system, learn an arsenal of magical skills, and form relationships with other students.”

Players will even be able to befriend a young Nymphadora Tonks long before she served in the Ministry of Magic and spend time with Hagrid’s favorite boarhound, Fang when he was still a puppy. Players will be able to take the “full educational experience” with Professor McGongall’s Transfiguration classes and Professor Flitwick’s Charms classes.
The actors for prominent characters from the film will be voicing their respective roles. Dame Maggie Smith is reprising her role as Professor McGonagall, Michael Gambon as Professor Dumbledore, Warwick Davis as Professor Flitwick, Sally Mortemore as Madam Pince, Gemma Jones as Madam Pomfrey and Zoe Wanamaker as Madam Hooch.
From what is being reported, the game is not just restricted to the castle of Hogwarts, but players will probably get glimpses of Diagon Alley as well as Hogsmeade.
