PUBG might be coming to PS4 now as the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has rated the popular battle-royale game for Sony’s PlayStation 4.
The PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is fast approaching its 12-month anniversary on Xbox, and after the Korean Game Rating Board listing (first spotted by Eurogamer) for PS4, it appears that the game was only exclusive to Microsoft Xbox One for an year.
The game was only available as a Game Preview edition for most time on Xbox, and it officially hit 1.0 on Xbox One earlier this month. So for the PS4, whether or not it’ll skip Preview edition/ beta stage is not clear as of now, especially when there is no existing early access program on Sony’s console. The Xbox One edition of PUBG is priced at $24.99 (Rs 1,999 for India), but there is no pricing rumor for PS4 as yet.
To remind you, it is not the first time that Korean Game Rating Board has listed any game ahead of official announcement, the previous incidences were with Hitman 2, Fornite on Switch and Sunset Overdrive on PC.

Meanwhile, PUBG is coming up with new update that will include ‘map selection’ option as well. The patch notes of the new update will be released later this week. The new option called Quick join will match the player on either of the three maps and has the shortest waiting time to find a match. We can assume that selecting less maps will increase the wait time to find a match.
