Bluehole’s battle royale PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is one of the most popular games in the world right now. The mobile version of the game boomed into limelight since its launch some months back and has become one of the most played games in the mobile space.
But the journey of PUBG began with its PC version which was launched last year as part of Steam’s Early Access program and was officially launched in December last year. And ever since the beginning the game has been an extremely demanding one that required a lot of high end specification to run in a manner that it is playable.
Players frequently complained that the game ate up too much RAM and taxed the GPUs too much and the developer forums were full of comments and complaints that asked the devs to lower the requirements. Players demanded that the game experience be optimized. And some players were even of the opinion that PUBG Corp. hurried into the launch of the game without optimizing it properly.
But the game has come a long way since then and is a whole other beast right now and is much more optimised than before. It has steady frame rates and fewer bugs than before. And if one was to make a PC today with the intention of playing PUBG then these are the minimum specs the person would require to run the game.
