The newest update to arrive on PUBG is the new Update 22 which hit the test servers last week. The new update has now been made live for the main servers as well and is accessible to all players. With is quite a few new things and changes have been added to the game. And among the new things, the first to come to anybody’s notice would be the new Anti-Cheat system which comes in the form of a pop-up dialogue box when launching the game. This dialogue box asks whether to turn on ‘Anti-cheat system’.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds had recently teased the inclusion of map selection in its next update, which has now been added to the game in this latest update. The other important feature to be added among the new features is the Rank System, which will be ranking players in different tiers.
The Ranking System will have different levels like Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Master and Grandmaster. This will keep the competitiveness alive and help keep a track of the progress of the player as well. Map selection is being added as well.
PC Players: Live server maintenance is now complete.
Update #22 is now live, which includes the new rank system and leaderboard season.

Skin trade up is another new feature in PUBG where players will be allowed to trade in skins and Battle Points to acquire a skin of a higher rarity. There is also a new UI/UX being implemented where the throwables, consumables and emotes can be controlled using wheels.
The devs are also bringing a network statistics function that will show High latency, Latency variation, Packet loss. Besides these, there are a bunch of bug fixes as well, and these can be found on the update log on the tweet.
