PUBG set to hold a $1 million Charity Showdown at PGI with streamers and pros

PGI 2018's Charity Showdown will see two streamers and two pros team up to form teams to take each other on.

PUBG’s biggest tournament yet is about to get underway and one of the highlights of the tournament is that about 40 of the world’s most popular streamers and top pros will be competing in charity matches.

Called the PGI Charity Showdown, it will see streamers like Shroud, DrDisRespect, Ninja, JoshOG, and others compete for a prize pool of $1 million that will be divided in the following manner:
– 1st Place Squad: $600,000 USD to donate to charity of 1st place winner’s choice
– 2nd Place Squad: $300,000 USD to donate to charity of 2nd place winner’s choice
– 3rd Place Squad: $100,000 USD to donate to charity of 3rd place winner’s choice

The event will be taking place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany while the PUBG Global Invitational 2018 (PGI 2018) is on. The event will begin at 7.30 PM in the evening on July 27. Attendees that have tickets to the PGI can witness these games first-hand at the venue.

There will be four first-person perspective matches that will be held, with teams of four. Each team will have two popular streamers along with two pros who will take part in the matches. All this action can be caught live on Twitch on the official PUBG channel for those that can’t be at the venue itself.

This event is set to happen between the third-person and first-person competitions at PGI 2018 where 20 professional teams will fight it out to come out on top and win the chicken dinner, or in this case the winning prize money.
