Razer has launched its latest offering, the Basilisk gaming mouse in India in partnership with Kaira Global, at a price of Rs 5,499. The Razer Basilisk comes with a 16,000 DPI optical sensor which uses the Razer 5G technology. Razer promises that this sensor technology will provide unparalleled and most precise experience for FPS gamers.
This is the same sensor that Razer has used in the Razer DeathAdder Elite and Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition that were launched earlier.
The Razer Basilisk is equipped with a dial underneath the mouse that lets the user tweak the resistance of the scroll wheel. Besides this the Razer Basilisk also features a removable DPI clutch which, when held down, allows the user to temporarily change sensitivity to aid in ultra-fast turns which is essential when sniping.
The other features of the Razer Basilisk include Razer’s own mechanical switches, eight independently programmable hyperesponse buttons, mouse response up to 450 inches per second (IPS) which is equal to 50 G acceleration, Razer’s trademarked Chroma lighting with true 16.8 million customizable color options, 1000 Hz ultrapolling, and ergonomic right-handed design with enhanced rubber side grips.
The dimensions of the mouse are 124 mm in length, 75 mm in width, 43 mm in height, and it weighs 107 g without the cable. Razer promises that the mouse has a 50 million click lifespan. The mouse is available in India with Kaira Global and comes with a one year warranty.
