The Crew 2 release pushed back to June 29, beta signups open

Ubisoft's Onmi-vehicle open world game is going to come a bit later than expected.

The Crew is Ubisoft’s onmi-vehicle open world game series, and the second edition has been delayed to a June 29 release from the initially thought March 16. Ubisoft will be releasing The Crew 2 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will have three editions.

Players will be able to unlock a large selection of vehicles that include cars, motorcycles, boats, and airplanes to complete four different types of motorsport challenges. These four different types of challenges are street racing, off-roading, pro racing, and freestyle. Users pre-ordering any edition of the game will be entitled to receive a Legendary Motors pack, which includes a 2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 Touring Car, and a 2017 Harley-Davidson Iron 883.

Moreover, users pre-ordering the Deluxe, Gold, or Motor Editions are set to receive a Motorsports Deluxe Pack that includes a 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Race Truck, 2008 Abarth 50 Monster Truck Edition, and the 2002 Pilatus PC-21 Air Race Edition Plane. Users pre-ordering the Deluxe or Gold editions are entitled to three outfits to customize their avatar.

The Motor edition which was earlier unconfirmed for PC, now has PC listed in platforms on the Ubisoft online store. The Motor edition will include:

1. The Crew 2: SteelBook Gold Edition, including the Season Pass and a collectible SteelBook case.

2. A 11.81×5.9 inch specialty license plate customized to reflect the spirit of The Crew 2.

3. A 25×20 inch fold out road map of the game – which is a guide to explore the entire USA, full of activities and hidden surprises.

Ubisoft has also announced a beta for The Crew 2 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Though details are quite scarce at the moment.
