We are just a few hours away from the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone, and if rumors are true then Fortnite for Android is also set to launch with the device. And according to rumors, that is not the only exclusive deal that Fortnite has with Samsung, and this news may not make Android device owners from other manufacturers happy. Fortnite has been one of the most awaited games for Android phone users and they may not be happy with the fact that the game might remain exclusive to Samsung devices for not just 30 days, but a rumored 120 days. According to reports, the game will be made available initially only on the Samsung Galaxy Apps store, which is accessible to only Samsung users. But for those that might be interested, XDA Developers who made the video below showing the game being played perfectly on a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus also tried out the APK on other devices including the Google Pixel 2 XL and it worked perfectly. Though the video does not show it being played on other devices, the report says that the game works on the other devices with a little bit of tweaking here and there.
All of this will only be confirmed in a few hours when the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 launch is underway, but until then all we know is that reports say Epic Games and Samsung came to an understanding to showcase the game at the Galaxy Note 9 launch and launch it exclusively on Samsung phones for the time being.
Besides this, the new batch of skins that were uncovered from the 5.2 version of the game also has a skin which is called Galaxy and looks nothing like a normal skin. This has an ethereal look with shimmery translucent skin and texture, and if rumors are to be believed then this might be exclusive to Galaxy S9 users.
