World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth release date revealed

The expansion will be getting a Collector's Edition that has a significant amount of goodies.

World of Warcraft’s latest expansion has been the food for hype ever since it was announced. Testament to this the incident where the demand for the pre-order was so high from the customers, the Warcraft servers almost broke down in January this year. And now, the company has revealed that the game expansion will be made available on August 14.

Along with it, Blizzard Entertainment has also announced that there will be a Collector’s Edition for the expansion that will be contain some exciting goodies. The Collector’s Edition will contain all the contents of the Digital Deluxe Editon and will come in a physical box set, a Horde & Alliance Double-Sided Mark of Allegiance, a Double-Sided Story Book: Elegy & A Good War, and the Collector’s Edition digital soundtrack.

The Collector’s Edition is priced at $99.99 (Rs 6,500 approximately), and can be pre-ordered now. Those having the other editions of the game, and wanting to upgrade to the Collector’s Edition, will have the balance refunded in Blizzard Balance. But those that have the Standard Edition and have upgraded to the Digital Deluxe Edition, will only be credited for the original copy.
