How to restore Apple Watch firmware from an iPhone running iOS 15.4

As per the support page, if your “Apple Watch with watchOS 8.5 or later displays an animation showing a watch and iPhone being brought close together” follow this guide-

-Ensure that your iPhone is nearby. Apple notes that the iPhone needs to have the latest iOS 15.4 software and needs to be connected to WiFi.

-Bluetooth of both devices should be turned on and needs to be unlocked.

-Then double-click the side button on your Apple Watch to start the restore process.

Apple, however, cites that even the new tool may not be able to recover the Watch. In this scenario, the watch will show a red exclamation mark icon. In that case, you will have to take your Apple Watch to an Apple Store or authorised repair shop to fix it.
