10.or has launched its third smartphone in India called 10.or D. The company had previously launched the 10.or E and 10.or G smartphones. The new smartphone is part of the company’s ‘Crafted for Amazon program’, which features products that have been made in India or designed for India. 10.or D is available in two variants – 16GB internal storage with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is priced at Rs 4,999 and Rs 5,999, respectively. The smartphone will go on sale at 12:00PM on January 5, and registrations for the first sale have already begun on Amazon India. The company has announced that Amazon Prime buyers will get an additional one-year warranty from the company. The smartphone comes with entry-level specifications which surprisingly matches the likes of the recently launched Redmi 5A. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD display. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with 2GB or 3GB of RAM.
On the camera front, there is also a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and an LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box and comes with a few pre-loaded Amazon apps like Kindle and Prime Video. The smartphone is backed by a 3,500mAh battery, which the company claims will last up to two days of battery life and up to 10 days of standby time. The smartphone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which the company says will unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds.
In comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A launched last month sports a 5-inch HD display, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. For photography, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone also features a 3,000mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to last for more than a day. On the software front, the device runs on Android Nougat-based MIUI 9.
