Now, 10.or is all set to launch a new smartphone in India. Likely to be called 10.or D2, the smartphone will succeed last year s 10.or D, and launch on August 22 according to a report by Telecomtalk. The company has already started advertising the soon-to-be-launched on device on Amazon India, with the tagline The next is here . The 10.or D was launched last year at a starting price of Rs 4,999. It s very much possible that 10.or D2 will be priced in the same range as well. It s also expected to run stock Android, just like all three 10.or smartphones that launched in 2017.

Recently, 10.or started rolling out Android 8.1 Oreo for its 10.or D smartphone. The update is about 1.2GB in size, and bundled with Android security patches up to June 2018. The Android 8.1 Oreo update for the 10.or D brings quite a few features such as new icons for Phone and Gallery apps, as well as the ability to have the notification shade change color automatically based on the wallpaper (dark/light). Other usual Oreo goodies such as Picture-in-picture mode, and Autosave of passwords among others are included with the update as well.
