After launching the 10.or D2 in India, Amazon India subsidiary smartphone 10.or has now started rolling out the Android 8.1 Oreo update for its last year’s smartphone called the 10.or E. The company announced the same through a tweet on August 31. The update will be done on OTA (on-the-air) so users should have already gotten a notification on their smartphone for it.
According to a report from TelecomTalk, the new update weighs about 1169.6MB in size and comes with few features, improvements and the more importantly Google’s August 2018 security patch. One of the new features that users will now be able to enjoy is PiP (Picture-in-Picture) mode, which should make it easy to multi-task between applications. To make online payments easier, the autofill password feature is also included.
Besides that, the update also comes with other stability improvements and customization options too. As the update is pretty big, we recommend users to do it on a Wi-Fi network in order to save cellular data. In case you have missed the update notification, we recommend going into the Settings app and checking for it manually.
