Among the three Nokia Android smartphones launched, Nokia 3 is the cheapest offering by HMD Global. The smartphone went on sale last month and currently retails at Rs 9,499. Alongside the 4G VoLTE support, it also has dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity options. The Nokia 3 comes with features like 5-inch HD display, MediaTek s MT6737 quad-core SoC, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. For optics, the Nokia 3 has an 8-megapixel camera both in the front and rear. It houses a 2,650mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box.
Xiaomi Redmi 4
The Redmi 4 is among the Xiaomi’s three best-selling smartphones this year, with over 1 million units sold in just 30 days from launch. The success of the entry-level Redmi 4 is also attributed to its prices starting from Rs 6,999. The Redmi 4 comes in three variants where the base variant comes with 16GB storage and 2GB of RAM for Rs 6,999, the mid variant comes at Rs 8,999 with 32GB storage and 3GB of RAM, and lastly the top-end variant comes at Rs 10,999 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. All three variant offers 4G VoLTE support.
It has a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display, Snapdragon 435 octa-core SoC, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF, and a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies. Other notable features include a fingerprint scanner, a 4,100mAh battery and Android Marshmallow 6.0 based MIUI 8.0 custom OS.
Priced at Rs 9,990, the Vivo Y53 offers a bunch of features along with VoLTE support. Vivo has been focussing on selfie-centric smartphones for some time, and Vivo Y53 is no different as well. The smartphone comes with screen flash feature to support the 5-megapixel front snapper. The smartphone also has an 8-megapixel primary camera.
The Vivo Y53 sports a 5-inch qHD (960 540pixels) display, Snapdragon 425 SoC, 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Funtouch OS 3.0 and packs a 2,500mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro was launched last year in July, slightly priced above Rs 10,00o. However, the smartphone got a price slash, and currently retails at Rs 8,990 offering VoLTE support. The smartphone comes in two color variants – gold and black. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
It flaunts a 5.5-inch HD display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Moto C Plus
Lenovo-owned Motorola launched its latest entry-level Moto C Plus smartphone last month, priced at Rs 6,999. The smartphone runs on Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box featuring Google Assistant as well. Besides the VoLTE connectivity, the smartphone also boasts a 4,000mAh battery under the hood.
The Moto C Plus features a 5-inch HD (720p) display, 1.35GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, further expandable up to 32GB via microSD Slot. For photography, it has an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel selfie snapper with LED flash on the front.
YU Yureka Black
With the launch of Yureka Black last month, the company rebooted YU series. Priced at Rs 8,999, the Yureka Black comes with a 5-inch full HD display with 2.5D curved glass along with Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It is powered by Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of internal storage, further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.
For optics, it is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It houses a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. For connectivity, the Yureka Black offers dual-SIM support (hybrid SIM-slot), 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Lenovo K6 power
Lenovo has a couple of entry-level smartphones to boast this year, and one of them which managed to grab a good share of the limelight is the Lenovo K6 Power. The K6 Power currently retails at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM variant while the 4GB RAM variant retails at Rs 10,000. In terms of specification, the smartphone features a 5-inch Full HD (1080p) display and Qualcomm s Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor.
The smartphone offers 32GB of internal storage, further expandable via microSD card. For optics, the K6 Power sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It houses a 4,000mAh and though the smartphone runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box, Lenovo has started rolling out Android Nougat 7.0 OTA update as well.
The Oppo A37 was launched in India last year in June, priced at Rs 11,990. However, the smartphone got a price cut as well and currently retails at Rs 9,999. Among the cheapest VoLTE enabled smartphones by Oppo, it also offers connectivity options such as the dual-SIM card slots, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and OTG support.
It has a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The A37 is powered by Snapdragon 410 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. For optics, it has an 8-megapixel primary camera with the 5-megapixel secondary camera.
Reliance Digital LYF F1S
Reliance Jio not only kicked off VoLTE services in India, it also started offering first few affordable VoLTE-enabled smartphone. As a matter of fact, earlier Reliance Jio services were only out with LYF smartphones by Reliance Digital. The LYF F1S currently retails at Rs 9,599. It flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD display (1080p) with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The LYF F1s is powered by Snapdragon 652 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage on board with further expansion up to 128GB via MicroSD card. It houses a 3,000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 11.5 hours of talk time on 4G. For the Optics, a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper on the front.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite
Earlier this year, Coolpad added another affordable VoLTE-enabled smartphone, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite.The smartphone available via Amazon India, is priced at Rs 8,199. The smartphone features a metal unibody design and comes with a rear fingerprint sensor.
It has 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The Coolpad Note 5 Lite is powered by a MediaTek MT6735CP processor clocked at 1GHz and is paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card. It has a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and auto-focus. Up front, the smartphone bears an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
