Only registered users will be able to participate in today’s sale. For the lucky users who manage to get the Yureka in their carts, will get 15 minutes to make the purchase. Users who did not get lucky for the first time, are recommended to join the Waitlist. Boasting LTE capability and priced at a pocket-friendly Rs 8,999, it is little wonder that all the flash sales till date have finished in a blink of an eye. To recap, the Yureka flaunts a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, and is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 64-bit capability and paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also features 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card.
Furthermore, the smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,500mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Cyanogen OS 11 based on Android KitKat.
Yu also revealed the name of its Project Caesar smartphone. The next flagship is going to be called Yu Yuphoria, after the successful crowd sourcing initiative held by the company.
