Whatever said and done, in this age of internet, social media platforms are important. And out of my mental list of the important platforms, I can think WhatsApp, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram as the top ones. Talking about Instagram in particular, it is one of those Holy Grails that are very alluring to individuals. Next to Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, it s one of the most powerful platforms for spreading the word and reaching people from around the world. In order to really enjoy Instagram, you need to be following the right accounts. Recently, Instagram crossed the 500 million monthly active users mark. Naturally, like any other platform that s reached the dizzying heights that Instagram has, there s a sense of information overload. Who are you supposed to follow? Who could we receive the most value and benefit from on a number of different levels? Also, in the strategy of choosing the accounts with the highest number of followers, may or may not be the best way to go about it. But those accounts with the most followers don t always provide us with the information or entertainment you are actually looking for. Therefore, I asked myself this question: Which are the Instagram accounts I would like to suggest someone to follow? And so I have put together six profiles on Instagram that I follow, and I would recommend you to consider them as well. Also Read - Instagram will now show ads on Reels just like Stories
Imagine being able to look at Earth from the space. That sight can be nothing short of breathtaking. But who would login to NASA for it every time. Instagrammer Benjamin Grant s profile DigitalGlobe gives you an easy access to the enigmatic space view of the Earth. Grant sources these images from websites like Google Earth, but he evidently puts in a lot of effort before they go up on Instagram. Some of the images are composites of as many as 25 photos, which Grant stitches together and enhances in Photoshop. Grant works with images taken by satellites orbiting Earth from hundreds of miles away. And interestingly, they somehow reveal more about the planet, and the people inhabiting it, than photos taken right here at home.
Southeastern Massachusetts is home to more than 14,000 acres of cranberry bogs. Cranberries are a unique fruit. They can grow and survive only under a very special combination of factors including acid peat soil, an adequate fresh water supply, and a growing season that extends from April to November. Cranberries grow on low-lying beds in vines like a strawberry. These beds are commonly known as bogs or marshes and were originally created by glacial deposits. #cranberries #cranberry #cranberrybog #fall #fallishere #autumn #digitalglobe #vantagepoint #worldview2 #satelliteimagery #satelliteimage

Zachking Originally a YouTuber, Zach King, is now ruling Instagram as well. He is most known for his magic vines , which are six-second videos that are digitally edited, which actually look as if he is doing magic. He calls his videos “digital sleight of hand.” Zach s work is incredible and it s impossible to not be awed by his vines. Lorenz Valentino This is one of my personal favorites. Till now, we have seen some amazing and brilliant work done by photo editing artists. However, Lorenz Valentino is God level! He does some extremely hilarious, yet outstanding job, of photoshopping himself into portraits and poster shots of famous celebrities. He wears his signature dino suit and furry owl slippers in all these pictures, which automatically add an element of fun in the images. And the ease at which he syncs his own pose with theirs is just masterly.
So I was walking through Charleston the other day to have lunch with my producer when this guy came up to me asking if I wanna go to some standup comedy thing with @realdonaldtrump…so here I am. He wasn’t really funny tho #comedyclub #standup #donaldtrump #potatowithbuttholelips #dinolicious #craokingdemon
Angela Nikolau There is something called risky , and then there is death-wish risky . This daredevil girl from Russia undoubtedly falls under the latter category. Angela Nikolau, a self-taught photographer who as a hobby takes the most dangerous selfies. Although her pictures would definitely give you chills but they are absolutely worth taking a look. Nikolau climbs the highest points of buildings and stands on the edge of high-rises to click a selfie or a photograph.
On her Instagram account, she describes her work as No limit, no control. Nikolau, in her collection of risky selfies on Instagram, can be seen posing on the the edges of building roof-tops, where a normal person like you and I would probably just die because of freaking out, seeing the Earth far far away from you and tripping off the building. Angela Nikolau, on the other hand, looks beautiful and calm, and actually happy, in all the photographs. Every shot of hers, standing at the riskiest edges of buildings, have a soothing and liberating effect. Paperboyo Another crafty (literally) account you must take a look at is Paperboyo s. He makes cut outs out of black sheets and fits them into the real world. It is incredible how his little paper crafts fit so perfectly with the world. For instance, he cut out a bicycle and used the London Eye as the front wheel of the bike. It s something you have to see to believe how good his work is.
Autumn’s coming to London but before the weather changes & we all hibernate, I took the opportunity to re-shoot one of my very first concepts with a wider lens against the clear sky. I think it gives a better forced perspective effect than my original #LondonEye #London #Bicycle #Bike #Wanderlust #PassionPassport #LoveGreatBritain #VisitLondon #Travel #Westminster @instagram #Paperart #Silhouette #Southbank #Cycling
