With MWC around the corner, it is but natural for new smartphones to pop up from all parts of the world. This time it is the turn of Acer s CloudMobile, which was shown off at an Acer presser in Milan, Italy. The Acer CloudMobile will feature a 1.5GHz dual-core processor (presumably a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3), a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, a 8.0 MP camera, NFC and Dolby mobile audio to boot. Notably, the report states that the Acer CloudMobile will run on the unannounced Android 4.1 ICS.
Apart from this, the headlining feature of the CloudMobile will be the integration with Acer s Cloud backend including PC to phone sync, though Acer is yet to properly demo the service. Previously, Acer has said that it will launch the device in Q3 of 2012, but its appearance in Europe could indicate a presence at MWC in Barcelona, Spain starting on Monday.
