Acer has finally launched its popular C720 Chromebook in India for Rs 20,363. As part of the ongoing Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) however, the C720 is available for as low as Rs 15,999 on Snapdeal.As a part of the deal, the company is also providing several more offers, including 1TB of Google Drive storage for two years which alone is worth Rs 14,800, and a buyback offer and a free Skullcandy headphone worth Rs 2,999 with each Acer Chromebook. Acer C720 is one of the best Chromebooks available in the market today. The notebook has received positive reviews by experts. The C720 offers up to 8.5 hours of battery life, and built-in virus protection. In the time testing the Chromebook, we felt that C720’s speakers and headphone jack input could have been a little better. But other than that, there isn’t any other major glitch with the system. Its boot time is pretty impressive too, Acer claims that you can boot the C720 in within seven seconds.
As far as the specifications of Acer C720 are concerned, it comes with an 11.6-inch LED display with 1366×768 screen resolution set at 16:9 ratio. It is powered by Intel Celeron 2957U processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. On the connectivity front, it supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and has a bunch of ports including one HDMI port, one USB 2.0 port and one USB 3.0 port, and an SD card reader.
