Flappy Bird, one of the most addictive games is now available to play in virtual reality. VRmob.co, a company that specializes in virtual reality headsets and accessories, has made a VR version of the game calling it Cardboard Flappy. The game is just like the original one, guiding the bird between pipes and avoiding collision. However, Cardboard Flappy lets you see through the eyes of the bird – which means only one thing – pipes, pipes and just a whole lot more of pipes. Fortunately, you don’t have to use your head to maneuver the bird, but instead use the trigger on the Cardboard. It’s a one-button game and works very similar to the way you play it on touchscreen – except that you feel like you’re actually in the game. As mentioned above, this game needs a Cardboard VR to be played. VRmob.co has made several 3D versions of classic games like Crossy Road, Blocks and even First Person Shooter.
This 3D version of the game is currently available only for Android users. The game can be downloaded from Google Play Store for free.
