Adobe has just announced the launch of the official beta version of its Spark Post. For the uninitiated Spark Post is a storytelling product aimed at users who need to make template-based social media graphics including photos and animated videos. The company had launched the iOS version of the app back in May 2016 announcing that the company is working on the Android version on the app. Now almost two years after the iOS version, the Android version is finally here. The company has launched Adobe Spark Post as a beta and it will add more features to the app to bring it on par with the iOS app.
These features include animation and text effects, Adobe Stock integration, custom size options, ability to add logos, fonts, branded templates and more. In addition to Adobe Spark, the company has also launched a new version of Adobe Lightroom CC with a number of improvements. The new feature comes with the ability to sync presets and profiles that the user has created or from third-party sources across all devices. This includes that you can use the profiles and presents that you created on your Windows PC on your Android device. The update also adds built-in guided tutorials to the app.

Adobe XD is the third product that received a number of improvements including better viewing, support for overlays and fixed elements, design specs, and shared prototypes. Adobe also announced a new project that it had been working on known as “Project Rush”. According to the company, this will a “first all-in-one, cross-device video editing app” aimed at creators. This means that it will run on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android while offering a similar experience.
The company has added technologies present in the professional tools that it provides, something that took years of development and refinement in Project Rush. It is supposed to be a comprehensive solution that takes care of everything including right from shooting the video, thumbnail creation, correcting the colors of the video, optimize the audio, editing the actual video, motion graphics and even scheduling the time when the video should be posted to actually publishing on multiple social media platforms.
