Apple sent out its invite with the words, ‘Hey Siri, give us a hint’, and when the question was actually asked to Siri on an iPhone, it gave out interesting results.
Sony isn’t the first to mock Apple, with Samsung rolling out a different marketing gimmick on the Google homepage. When users Googled for iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, the first result showed a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ advertisement.
Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus alongside the iPad mini 4 and the rumored 12-9-inch iPad Pro. Among software announcements, details on the commercial roll out of the iOS 9, OS X El Capitan and WatchOS 2.0.
From what we have heard so far, the new iPhones could don the Force Touch display. It may be powered by a faster 1.5GHz tri-core A9 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It could come with a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and 4K recording capabilities. The front-facing Face Time camera is also expected to be bumped to 5-megapixels with 1080p video recording capabilities.
They are also expected to come with Ion-X glass, and the body casing could also be slightly thicker to avoid bendgate issue that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users reported. Also, Apple is expected to introduce new Rose Gold color option along with the existing Gold, Space Grey and Silver colour variants.
