Paytm recently even tied-up with Uber to provide its digital wallet facility to the ride-sharing service. Uber was forced to look for a payment alternative after RBI weighed in and made the two-step authentication a mandate. Other brands like Cafe Coffee Day too have decided to give users an alternative payment option, and tied up with Oxigen wallet for this purpose, becoming the first brick and mortar retail giant in India to do so.
