Aircel on Thursday launched its third-generation telecom services in Chittoor and said it has also enhanced the speed of its 3G offerings in two other Andhra towns, Tirupati and Nellore. The augmented 3G services will enable customers in the region to access data services with much enhanced speed and seamless connectivity, the operator said in a news release. Aircel also launched its free basic Internet facility to all new customers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The product is limited to speed of 64 kbps, the company said. Also Read - More than one lakh Aircel customers registered to join BSNL
Aircel also launched its ‘Good Morning’ product, which allows customers to make their first few calls of the day free. Under this, all new and existing Aircel subscribers would be able to make free Aircel to Aircel calls between 6 am and 8 am, it said.
