With the change, the Rs 399 plan now offers 20GB of data, as opposed to the 10GB data it was offering up till now. The plan still covers unlimited STD and local calls, and free roaming on incoming calls. However, according to Airtel’s websites, charges will now apply on outgoing roaming calls in the Rs 399 offer. Additional benefits with the Wynk app remain the same. Although, if you look up the MyAirtel app, the Rs 399 plan does show unlimited outgoing roaming calls. Also, we have found that if you have already been using the Rs 399 plan, but with the older offer of 10GB data, you can choose to change your plan, and from the drop down list if you choose the Rs 399 plan, it will upgrade you with the offering of 20GB data instead.
With the Rs 499 plan, Airtel has increased the data on offer to 40GB. It has unlimited STD and local calls, and free roaming on incoming calls, and unlimited roaming outgoing calls. With the same benefits, the Rs 799 plan now offers 60GB of data, and the Rs 1,199 plan offers a whopping 90GB data after the revision. All three of these plans offer a year of Amazon Prime membership (which is not a new addition).
Further, Airtel’s Rs 1,599 premium plan gives 150GB of data per billing cycle, the Rs 1,999 postpaid plan is offering 200GB of data, and the Rs 2,999 plan is providing a whopping 300GB of data.
