Bharti Airtel has launched a bunch of prepaid plans across different price segments, daily offering high-speed 4G data, unlimited calls, and more. These plans are priced between Rs 199 and Rs 509. And in a process to trim down the tariff list, Airtel also removed the Rs 549 and Rs 799 prepaid plans. The latest addition in the under Rs 500 segment is the Rs 419 prepaid plan which bundles calling and data benefits, along with long validity.
The Rs 419 prepaid plan from Airtel is an open market plan, meaning it is available to all subscribers, TelecomTalk reports. Talking about benefits, the plan comes with unlimited local and national calling without any FUP, and unlimited roaming as well.

Users also get unlimited SMS, capped at 100 messages daily. In terms of data benefits, users get 1.4GB daily data, on 4G, 3G and 2G networks. This means, throughout the validity, users can download up to 105GB data. The validity of the plan is 75 days.
Talking about competition, Airtel’s Rs 419 prepaid plan competes with Rs 349 plan from Reliance Jio. The data benefits remain the same, which is 105GB through the validity. However, the daily data is 100MB more, which means you get 1.5GB daily data. Users also get unlimited local and national calling, unlimited SMS and unlimited roaming.
While Airtel plan offers 75 days validity, Jio’s plan offers 70 days validity. Reliance Jio also bundles complimentary subscription to Jio suite of apps, which includes JioMusic, JioMovies, and JioTV among others. Jio Diwali dhamaka offer is still live where recharging with Rs 149 and above gives 100 percent cashback in the form of discount coupons that can be used while making purchase at Reliance Digital and Express Mini stores. The offer is valid till November 30.
