Bharti Airtel has launched a new Rs 289 prepaid plan, which comes with a validity of 48 days. This plan is aimed at users who are constantly on calls, and do not require much mobile data. Airtel s Rs 289 prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calling option (local, STD, and roaming) for the entire validity period. The highlight is that this is an open market plan, and doesn t come with any limits on the voice calling, TelecomTalk reports. Additionally, subscribers also get 1GB of mobile data, and 100 SMS per day. As mentioned, the validity of this plan is for 48 days. At this price range, competing telecom operators also offer decent plans. Vodafone has a Rs 279 prepaid plan with a validity of 84 days. This prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calling, 4GB mobile data, and 100 SMS per day.
Idea Cellular, on the other hand, has a Rs 295 prepaid plan that is available in all its circles. This plan comes with a validity of 42 days, and offers unlimited voice calling, 5GB mobile data, and 100 SMS messages per day.

While Idea s prepaid plan does have massive data benefits, Airtel s plan if better if you re looking to make a lot of calls without any limit. Though Idea s Rs 295 plan offers unlimited voice calls, it is capped at 250 minutes of calling per day, and 1,000 minutes of calling per week.
