Since its launch in 1995, Airtel (or more specifically, Bharti Airtel Limited) has grown by leaps and bounds. The largest telecom service provider (at least until the impending Vodafone-Idea merger comes into effect) in India today, Airtel now offers everything from DTH services to digital payment solutions.

To commemorate its 23 years in the country, Airtel is now extending an Amazon Pay gift card to all its cellular subscribers, as a gesture of appreciation for their continued patronage.

As part of the promotion, all Airtel customers (prepaid and postpaid) will receive a special Amazon Pay gift card worth Rs 51. This card can be redeemed by customers as Amazon Pay balance for recharges and bill payments, as well for shopping on Amazon India. It’s also valid for payments made at Amazon Pay’s partner merchants.

Prepaid customers having a bundled pack of Rs 100 or more, and postpaid customers subscribed to any of Airtel’s Infinity plans are eligible for the Amazon Pay gift card as well.

The card can be availed through My Airtel app, which is available on both Google Play and Apple App Store. In the app, users simply need to tap on the ‘Airtel Thanks’ banner on the homepage of the app. After doing that, all they need to do is tap on the Claim now button, and their gift card will be activated. The gift card will be valid till October 31.

It’s worth mentioning that this is a limited time offer.

Airtel recently announced a cashback of Rs 250 on recharges and bill payments done via Airtel Payments Bank, its e-wallet service. The offer is part of the telecom service provider’s “Independence Week Special” promotion and as such, it will run till August 15, 2018.
