Alcatel has silently unveiled its new smartphone, Alcatel X1, in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 15,999 and is available for purchase via Flipkart and Amazon.in. The smartphone is available in sliver-black and silver-white colors. One of the talking points of the smartphone is Alcatel’s Eye-D unlock system that scans your eyes to unlock the smartphone. Alcatel X1 specifications and features: It features a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Also on offer is 16GB of storage and the device supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. The Alcatel X1 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture and has a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash. It is powered by a 2,150mAh battery which the company claims can give up to 19 hours of talk time and up to 74 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and micro-USB. On the software front, the device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
