According to Tech Crunch, last year, Alibaba made 5.75 billion dollars in sales across its two biggest shopping services – its Taobao Marketplace and T-Mall site for brands – and already the company has broken its first major milestones today. The online retailer said that it sold goods worth 1 billion dollars this year in less than 20 minutes.
As compared to last year, the Chinese e-commerce giant has widened its reach, with sales expanding worldwide, the report said.
