In what is a quite different kind of leak compared to ones we report nearly every other day, French blog NoWhereElse have stumbled upon a set of photos that seem to be of the motherboard from Apple s next-generation iPhone 5S. The motherboard in the photos above is quite different to the one that is currently powering the iPhone 5 and for the first time shows proof that the next-gen iPhone is indeed coming with an upgraded camera. This piece of information is consistent with earlier reports which peg the iPhone 5S as sporting a 12-megapixel HD camera with dual-LED flash stacked on top of one another to improve the phone s low-light photo clicking abilities.
Another reason why these leaked images is significant is because for the first time they show just how far Apple seems to have reached in terms of production and development of the iPhone 5S. But it is after all a rumor, and as with all rumors it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
