Just last week, LG launched the mid-range Q7 in India and now the rumors around its successor have started floating on the web. The alleged LG Q9 came to existence yesterday when a tipster on Twitter shed some specifications of the device. The leaked image published by an Indian blog Hometop reveals alleged LG Q9’s frontal design with 18:9 display similar to the LG Q Stylus+, which was launched in India on Tuesday. The handset is claimed to feature an IP68 rating with military standard MIL-STD-810G chassis, which is now coming in most LG smartphones. As for the specifications, the website has noted most specifications of the alleged LG Q9 via previous Twitter tipster. As for the display, it is expected to be a 6.2-inch 18:9 screen with Full-HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, although looking at the leaked image it appears that it will most likely by 5.5-inch screen.
According to report, the LG Q9 is expected to pack an octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset by Qualcomm. It is said to come in one 4GB RAM variant with two different storage options of 32GB or 64 GB. It is also tipped to sport 32-bit Quad DAC for audio and Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

For the battery, it is noted to come with a 3550mAh battery. There are no details on camera specifications as yet, but anyhow, the rumor does appear a little vague at this point, so the authenticity can’t be guaranteed.
