A couple of days back we reported that LG is working on unveiling a bunch of new devices including a phablet, tablet and a smartwatch, and now the new rumors suggest that this list might also include a successor of the mid-range LG Optimus L9 smartphone launched last year. The Unlockr along with @evleaks has leaked an alleged photo and detailed specifications of the phone and is claiming that the Optimus L9 II will be introduced soon. In terms of looks and design, the LG Optimus L9 II flaunts a capacitive home key which replaces the hardware key as seen on its predecessor. On the specifications front, it is rumored to don a 4.7-inch HD display with 720p resolution, Qualcomm’s MSM8230 Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1GHz Krait processor with Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB of RAM. It might also sport an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera, 8GB of internal storage, which will be expandable using a microSD and a 2,150mAh battery. It is expected to run on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.
