Last month a press shot and specifications of Huawei’s forthcoming Windows Phone 8, the Ascend W2 surfaced online. The folks at WPCentral have now come across the first real-life photos and a full-list of specifications for the Ascend W2.
The device was spotted by Chinese blog Weibo at the ongoing Mobile Asia Expo 2013 ahead of an official unveiling by Huawei. Unlike what was earlier believed, the Ascend W2 is a budget phone that will be available in multiple colors and feature a 4.3-inch WVGA (800×400 pixels) display, dual-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, paired with 512MB of RAM, rear camera and 8GB of internal storage.
It isn’t clear when Huawei would launch this device, but the fact that it was spotted at the MAE 2013 is an indication that Huawei might unveil the phone in a day or two.
