In its second flash sale, the Lenovo K3 Note again disappeared in seconds. The company has announced that as many as 49,800 units of the K3 Note were sold in the two flash sales that were conducted today. Lenovo sold 30,000 units of the K3 Note black variant in 3.9 seconds at 12 noon and 19,800 units of the white variant in 4.3 seconds at 3PM. The company also revealed that a total of 4,61,863 registrations were received on Flipkart for today’s sale, making Lenovo reach the one million registration milestone in just two flash sales. The first sale was over in 5.2 seconds, in which the company managed to sell 47,440 units. The next sale will be conducted on July 22 in the similar manner (black variant at 12PM and white variant at 3PM), the registrations for which are now open. The K3 Note was launched at the end of last month and was priced at Rs 9,999. It joins Lenovo s lineup of affordable 4G-capable smartphones in India that includes the likes of A6000 Plus, A7000, priced in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment, and the S60 priced at Rs 12,999. Flaunting a 5.5-inch full HD display, the K3 Note is currently the most affordable smartphone in India with a 1080p display.
As far as the rest of the specifications are concerned, the phablet is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It also features 16GB internal memory, microSD card, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, Dolby Atmos sound technology, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G support on both SIMs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. On the software front, the phablet runs on Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.
