Amazon offers its own flower delivery service, but it’s not clear why Alexa is working with 1-800-Flowers instead of that, the Verge reports. Amazon had recently announced that its voice command device would also add events to the Google calendar by voice. The Washington-based company had also launched new KidsMD skill recently that can help the parents decide to call a doctor for their children on symptoms like fever, cough, headache, rash, vomiting, sore throat, diarrhoea, fatigue or shortness of breath. By using KidsMD on once’s Alexa device, the people would also be able to ask for dosing advice based on their child’s weight or age.
