The pre-Diwali festival sale season is here and Amazon is kick-starting things with its ‘Great Indian Festival’ sale event. The e-commerce giant is set to start the sale from October 10 for everyone but it is giving an early access to all the discounts and deals to its Amazon Prime subscription users. The early access is set to start at 12 noon today, on October 9 which means that Amazon Prime subscribers will have a 12-hour head-start from the rest of the buyers on the internet. Amazon is aiming at attracting as many buyers as possible to its platform to get a larger pie of the pre-festival surge in the purchase.
Amazon India has teamed up with SBI bank to offer an instant 10 percent discount in addition to extra cash back to buyers making a purchase with a credit card issued by SBI. It is also offering an additional cashback of about 10 percent on the purchase of any product that is priced more than Rs 6,000. Buyers can also make use of the no-cost EMI options on any credit or debit cards with the help of offers by Bajaj Finserv along with Amazon Pay. The company is also bringing back exchange offers to give more flexibility to the users.

The company has highlighted some deals on its landing page including the sale of the Mi TV Pro series. To recap. Xiaomi will hold a flash sale of its Mi TV Pro series, specifically the 49-inch and the 32-inch option at 9 PM. The 49-inch variant is priced at Rs 29,999 and the 32-inch variant is priced at Rs 14,999. Amazon has also highlighted the flash sale for the Panasonic 4K Smart what will go on flash sale at 6 PM today.
In addition to both these flash sales, the company will offer discounts in a number of categories including smartphones, Amazon products including the Echo smart speaker lineup, Fire TV stick, and Kindle. Other categories include home and kitchen products, fashion, consumer appliances including TV, ACs, and washing machines, books, and daily essential items.
Amazon also added that it will give “up to Rs 2,300 back” as coupons for services including Swiggy, bookmyshow, yatra, and UrbanClap if users use the mobile app to make the purchase. It will also bring back the free 2-hour delivery option for the users.
