The Pebble Time Steel variant with color e-paper display was launched for Rs 15,999, but it is now available for Rs 6,399. Also, the Pebble Time Round which was launched for Rs 13,500, is now going for Rs 5,300. Amazon India also has an interesting cashback offer for SBI Bank credit and debit card users. Customers shopping for Rs 4,999 and above will be eligible to get additional cashback of 10 percent on website, and 15 percent on purchases made from Amazon app. Maximum cashback that one can avail is Rs 1,750, which will be given at the time of checkout. Recently, health and fitness band maker Fitbit acquired Pebble for around $40 million. Post acquisition, Pebble has shut down its hardware division and won t make any more products. Fitbit will be using Pebble s software assets and could integrate it into its fitness app. Now, Amazon India listing of Pebble smartwatches clearlymention that they don t come with manufacturer warranty on the item. If you just want to get started with smartwatches and don t mind if it becomes unusable after 11 months, buying a Pebble smartwatch is a no brainer.
